Fanatics Sportsbook Launches in Iowa Following PointsBet Acquisition
Fanatics Betting and Gaming, a fast-growing subsidiary of Fanatics Holdings, expanded its US footprint with the launch of its sports betting app in Iowa. This marks the company’s twelfth state entry after acquiring PointsBet’s US business assets in August 2023.
PointsBet customers in Iowa can seamlessly migrate their accounts—including usernames, rewards, and balances—to Fanatics Sportsbook. The app, available on Android and iOS, features a smooth signup process, multiple deposit and withdrawal options, and easy wagering.
Fanatics is also transitioning the retail sportsbook at Catfish Bend Casino in Burlington from PointsBet, adding self-service kiosks while maintaining an upscale lounge experience with a sports bar, slots, and a multiscreen video wall.
Key app features include a powerful search tool with autocomplete, a Discover feed highlighting popular bets and stats, and FanCash, a rewards program offering up to 5% cash back on wagers.
